THERE WILL BE “ERA INSPECTION”
ALL Classic bikes will be “Era/Tech Inspected” to receive special sticker to get on the gate. Friday morning and on race days! In the spirit of fairness and the event, inspectors are looking at era correct frame, fork, bars, etc. For example: We don’t want some one trying to run a 1990 GT Pro Series as a 1979 GT. We also don’t want to see a 1975 Mongoose with alloy wheels and redline flight cranks. They will not care about tires, chains, etc. It’s all about fun people! Just don’t be THAT GUY.

Classic Classes – The classes will be divided up first by “Era” and then by (2) age groups 14 & Under and 15 & Over depending on having enough to make a class. Unless it’s already an age-designated class. Remember it’s suppose to be fun and about getting to ride on that 40-year-old track so a 13 year-old may be racing a 50 year-old. All good!

NOTE: There will be “Full-Kit” Awards for 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s for those who race with period appropriate gear on Saturday. Sort of a cross between the bike show and racing. Judges will be in staging and at the gate. 1st place only per decade period.

HELMET RULES – No as in ZERO skateboard, dirt jump, Pro-Tec or other half-style cycling, mountain bike helmets will be allowed to race. DON”T EVEN BRING THEM. Full coverage MTB helmets are ok. Though a lot of those “mugs” are still ugly after all these years, we know your mother still likes‘em and your kids/grandkids pretend to like’em
